Operation Mad Hatter300 200Operation Mad Hatter nabs 15 in Arkansas drug investigation -

Fifteen defendants are in custody after a DEA operation led to several arrests this morning as part of a federal drug investigation.

Operation Mad Hatter has resulted in the identification of several drug traffickers and the seizure of large quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, methamphetamine, and heroin.

Operation Mad Hatter, run by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, is an ongoing DEA Domestic Cartel Initiative investigation. Today’s arrests follow the unsealing of an indictment of 19 individuals who were charged by a federal grand jury on August 7, 2019. Of those, 15 are now in custody, and law enforcement has made contact with the remaining four defendants. In February 2019, DEA made the first arrests related to Operation Mad Hatter, and today’s arrests stem from activity uncovered during the ongoing investigation. Ten defendants had been arrested throughout the investigation, and the remaining five were arrested this morning, completing this phase of the operation.

Sarah Palin Defamation Lawsuit Against NYT Revived

Sarah Palin300 200Appeals court brings back Sarah Palin defamation lawsuit against the New York Times - Washington Examiner

Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has another shot at suing the New York Times after an appeals court reversed a lower court opinion dismissing her defamation case against the newspaper.

Appeals court Judge John M. Walker Jr. ruled Tuesday that the district court judge in the case “erred in relying on acts outside the pleadings to dismiss the complaint,” adding that the amended complaint “plausibly states a claim for defamation and may proceed to full discovery.”

Palin, 55, had filed the lawsuit in June 2017 in response to an editorial that drew a link between the shooting of former Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and a map of crosshairs over Democratic congressional districts that her political action committee SarahPAC had circulated. In 2011, the 49-year-old Democrat was shot in the head by a gunman during an assassination attempt in Tucson, Arizona.

Although it’s not yet clear what the man’s intent was, Lucas said, “We definitely have some crimes here.”

Epstein - Anatomy of a Murder?

Epstein DeadJeffrey Epstein was taken off suicide watch at his lawyers’ request - New York Post

He had been downgraded to “special observation status,” which required two guards to make separate checks on him every 30 minutes, but that procedure was not followed, a source has told Reuters.

Under the status, Epstein also was supposed to have a cellmate, a person familiar with the matter told the Journal.

His cellmate had apparently left, possibly for a court appearance or another appointment, and was not immediately replaced as required by protocol, the source told the newspaper.

n addition, the decision to remove an inmate from suicide watch would normally have to have been OK’d by the jail’s suicide prevention program coordinator and then approved by the warden, according to NBC News, which cited protocols.

Declassified Ohr 302s Revealed

Ohr 302s 300 200OHR 302s reveal FBI/DOJ/State/Fusion worked together to get Trump dirt - Independent Sentinel

Judicial Watch released the 302s of the interviews of Bruce Ohr with the FBI, documents they obtained through a FOIA lawsuit. The 302s are the FBI notes of the interviews. He was interviewed as a WITNESS.

They concern his interactions with the foreign agent, Christopher Steele, who was working as an operative of the Clinton campaign at the time.

They expose the cozy relationship between the FBI, DOJ, State Department and the Clinton campaign’s researchers — the shady organization, Fusion GPS.

There are redactions, but at one point, Bruce Ohr describes someone as “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being the U.S. President.” JW believes that person is most likely Steele. This was AFTER the President was elected.
